Christmas with Canadian Brass

The University of Colorado Boulder will host a holiday performance from the world-renowned Canadian Brass, a quintet formed in 1970 and is called “the world’s most famous brass group,” at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Macky Auditorium, 1595 Pleasant St.; $20-$90; cupre sents.org.

Stories, songs and free cookies

Stories on Stage presents “Making Merry,” a performance of Christmas and Hanukkah stories and songs, featuring musical guest Off Kilter! — an a cappella troupe made up of singers from the Denver Gay Men’s Chorus.
