Armada’s strong season will continue into the Division 2 district championship round after the Tigers disposed of Marine City, 52-18, on Wednesday.

The host Tigers spread out their scoring across the team, with Claire Sniesak leading the way with 12 points. Haylee Agee had 11, Ashlyn Upton scored nine, Valeria Ricossa had seven and Brooklyn Khon had six.

With the win, Armada advances to the title game where they will face the MAC Gold’s St. Clair Saints. The game will be played at Armada with a 7 p.m. tip time.

REGINA 68, CHANDLER PARK 22 >> A pair of Saddlelites picked up double-doubles — Emersen Holder had 17 points and 10 assists while Sara Wilking had 16 points and 10 rebounds. Regina will play South Lake in their district title game.

SOUTH LAKE 57, HARPER WOODS 49 >> Speaking of South Lake, the Cavaliers got 14 points and 15 rebounds from Dania McClain and 22 points and seven assists from Christina Gibson in their win over Harper Woods.ARMADA 52, MARINE CITY 18 >> The Tigers spread the scoring out with Claire Sniesak (12 points) and Haylee Agee (11) pacing the team. Armada will face St. Clair, who defeated Marysville, 46-39, in the district championship.

CASS TECH 62, GROSSE POINTE NORTH 32 >> Gary Bennett and the Norsemen had their season end to the Technicians. Cass Tech’s Natasha Shell led all players with 26 points.

FORD II 68, STEVENSON 23 >> Tyra Wright set a school record with eight 3-pointers made in the win, accruing 26 points. Anayya Davis scored 21 points with 10 assists. Stevenson’s Hannah Tamou led the way with 21 points. Ford and Fraser will meet in the district championship game.

COUSINO 36, LAKEVIEW 21 >> The Patriots were led by DeMaya Asberry’s 18 points and seven rebounds, getting the win and the right to face off with Warren Woods Tower in the district title game.
