Resident of Sunnyvale

Lorraine Cecile Carrieri, born in Burlingame, California, passed away peacefully in Sunnyvale, California, in early January 2025. She is survived by her dedicated husband of 56 years, Domenic Carrieri, and was preceded in death by her father, Robert Dines Nelsen, her mother, Cecile (Eddy, Nelsen) Taylor, and her stepfather, Ashworth Taylor.

Lorraine was the loving mother to Mike (Donna) Carrieri, Steve (Laura) Carrieri, and Katie (Kevin) Letz, and a generous grandmother to Kevin and Emily Carrieri and Kamden Letz. She was the sister-in-law of Sam (Muriel) Carrieri of Half Moon Bay, and Aunt to Kris (Matt) Pettit and Gina Carrieri.

Lorraine was a graduate of Cupertino H.S. and attended San Jose State. She was a proud, multi-generational Bay Area native who resided in Sunnyvale for 54 years. She was a doting mother and wife, spending countless hours volunteering at her children’s schools, attending their many activities, and managing the family home. She was kind, understanding, and patient, while also being a strong protector of her family.

Aprivate gathering will be held at the family home in her honor. Thanks Mom for all your love and care throughout the years. We love you and miss you!
