A vote-stealing story with little substance
I live to read letters like Tuesday’s from Paul Dougan, who claims that Trump supporters will dismiss charges that Trump stole the election in 2024. On the contrary, I would invite Mr. Dougan to come forward and contribute his evidence to the mountain of evidence regarding the stolen 2020 election and together perhaps we can solve the problem of crooked elections once and for all.
But what does Mr. Dougan actually have? All he is willing to share is that Trump said something to the effect of, Elon Musk knows everything about those “vote-counting computers.” That’s pretty much it! And from there, Democrats everywhere took a flying leap straight into the middle of Lake Absurd.
Here’s my observations about the 2024 election. Trump won all seven swing states and the Republican candidate for senate won in just one of those. In four of the other swing states that Trump won, the Republican candidate for Senate lost. Did voters in those states decide to give the presidency to Trump, presumably because they wanted change, but also decide to hamstring him by not giving him the tools he needs to implement that change? That seems like a disconnect to me. Jay Valentine and company at https://omega4america.substack.com/ seem to think there are plenty of questions about the 2024 election, and they have at least some of the answers.
Americans weren’t “had,” as Mr. Dougan asserts. Democrats were trolled and they took the bait, hook, line and sinker. If anyone has any evidence, even if it’s on the flimsiest of grounds, I would urge them to please come forward and unapologetically share what you have.
The current state of our crooked elections ought to concern everyone, regardless of party.
