The Davis Police Department announced the newest addition to the force — Officer Sydney Abbott, who completed her field training program and is now patrolling the city as a solo officer.
“After months of rigorous training, dedication and learning from Davis PD’s experienced Field Training Officers, Officer Abbott has shown that she is ready to serve and protect our community with pride,” the Davis Police Department stated in a public Facebook post. “Officer Abbott is passionate about making a difference and looks forward to building strong connections with the people of Davis.”
