Noteworthy: Soufi won the shot put title in Division 3 at the CIF Southern Section track and field finals with a mark of 58 feet, 5 inches. Soufi’s heave was the best in all four divisions. He will be one of the favorites at the Masters Meet on Saturday at Moorpark High. Soufi’s personal best this season is 59-3.
