March 6, 1937 - December 19, 2023 Woodland Harriette Ellen Cody-Altamirano, age 86, of Woodland, California passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.

She was born on March 6, 1937 in Ft Collins, Colorado, grew up in La Junta, Colorado. Harriette is survived by her husband Rosalio Altamirano, Jr. of 40 years. Sons Scott Cody, Andy and Jill Cody, Jason and Judy Cody, Manuel Altamirano, Rosalio Altamirano IV, Tina, and Patrick Gallego. Preceded in death by her mother Mary Frances Brown, and her father James Johnson.

Harriette graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She worked as Director of Child Support Service for the County of Yolo for over 40 years, and really enjoyed spending time with her 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was actively involved with St Lukes Church, enjoyed camping with her family and friends, especially along the coast. Her family and dogs were her life and she would do whatever she could to help them when needed. She will be missed.

The family would like to thank Yolo Cares Hospice for the care and compassion they showed Harriette in her final days. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to Yolo Cares Hospice and/or 29 Palms Dog Rescue of Yolo County. There will be no services held.
