The NFL Players Association said Tuesday it will request that the NFL release the rest of the 650,000 emails reviewed as part of the investigation into workplace misconduct with the Washington Football Team.

Leaked emails from that probe showed Jon Gruden used racist, misogynistic and anti-gay language and led to the Raiders coach’s resignation Monday night.

Attorneys representing 40 ex-employees of the WFT also urged the NFL to release the emails.

The NFL completed its investigation into the WFT in July, fining the franchise $10 million.

An NFL spokesperson told ESPN that the league won’t reopen the investigation into the WFT based on the recently leaked emails.

The Buccaneers removed Gruden from the team’s Ring of Honor at Raymond James Stadium. Gruden led the Bucs from 2002 through 2008, winning the Super Bowl in his first season with the team. His 57-55 record over seven seasons make him the winningest coach in Bucs history. ... Cardinals star pass-rusher Chandler Jones was put on the league’s COVID-19 list because of a positive test, ESPN reported. Jones, 31, is vaccinated. If he’s asymptomatic, he can return to the Cardinals with two negative tests 24 hours apart.
