Daily Camera player of the year Reagan Kotschau of Broomfield and Longmont Times-Call honoree Katy Adler of Mead led 27 players from the BoCoPreps coverage area on CHSAA’s all-state girls soccer teams.

Kotschau (11 goals, five assists) and F Victoria Choren (six, two) were named 5A first-teamers as each had a major hand in moving Broomfield all the way to the semifinals this past spring. Teammate Madison Foulke, a goalie, was named to the second team, while MF Lexie Hinton was an honorable mention.

Adler (22 goals, seven assists), meanwhile, made 4A’s first team after leading the Mavericks to the quarterfinals. Teammates Reese Ormsby and Madelyn Wright were honorable mentions. None of them were listed by position.

Elsewhere in 5A, MF Mia DeJohn (seven goals, 11 assists) was a first teamer after leading Boulder to its best season in memory and a trip to the postseason’s second round. MF/D Elle Ceres was an honorable mention.

Legacy had two players on the list in second-team D Laina Dayhuff and honorable mention F Anya Bursey.

Other honorable mentions in 5A included Fairview F Lucy Ochs and MF Pailynn Pine, Erie D Kelsie Cox and Monarch’s Paloma Mellish. In 4A’s was Skyline D/MF Moriah Nates.

In 3A, Jefferson Academy’s Elsa Nygren (15 goals, 13 assists) and Prospect Ridge Academy F Madison Skinner (21, 13) were first-teamers, while JA’s Ella Pajor (18, five) and Peak to Peak’s Isla Howkins (seven, two) were on the second team.

JA beat Peak to Peak in the second round and Prospect Ridge in the quarterfinals before bowing out in the semis.

Honorable mentions in 3A included JA’s Brianna Kozlowski and Evelyn Tran, PRA’s Sierra Bennett and Kayah Robbins, P2P’s Sadie Corbett and Longmont’s Jenna Errington.

In 2A, Kanoe Bihag (29, 11) was a first teamer for Dawson, which made the second round.
