The 20th Annual Paradise Chocolate Fest returns Saturday, May 10 at Terry Ashe Park, offering a full day of chocolatey delights, family fun, and community spirit — all while “Sweetening the Future for Paradise Ridge Youth.”

This event, recognized as one of the “Best in the West” by Cal Expo at the California State Fair, promises a jam-packed lineup of activities for guests of all ages as the ridge celebrates two decades of chocolate sweetness. It benefits youth programs across the ridge communities.

.Chocolate lovers will delight in the famed Chocolate Candy Land, featuring decadent booths, a grand chocolate fountain, local chocolatiers, and mouthwatering ice cream treats.

Meanwhile, Art in the Park and All About Books invite visitors to explore creativity, literature, and art exhibits.

Families will enjoy the Kidz-Zone — a wonderland of giant inflatables, Lego building competition, carnival games, costumed characters, face painting, arts and crafts, and hands-on activities designed to keep the youngest festival-goers smiling all day long.

Festival-goers can also compete in crowd-favorite contests, including:

— The Chocolate Cuisine Challenge for creative culinary talents.

— The Chocolate Pie Eating & Cookie Stacking Contests for competitive foodies.

— And the Super Sensational Ice Cream Sundae Eating Contest, sure to bring big laughs and even bigger appetites.

Music lovers will be treated to live performances across two stages featuring local favorites Big Mo and the Full Moon Band, Hot Flash, Whiskey River Band, Rigged, and Tally. Plus, adults 21 and over can kick back and enjoy craft beverages at the Wine, Brew and Spirits Garden from noon to 4 p.m.

Admission is just $5 per person (children 4 and under enter free) and includes chocolate samples, entry into the pie and ice cream eating contests, Kidz-Zone activities and games, raffle prizes, parking and live music and entertainment.
