The Minnesota Vikings get a double dip of international play in 2025 with trips to both Ireland and Britain as the NFL features a record seven overseas kickoffs this season, including forays into Germany and Spain.

The Vikings will play the Pittsburgh Steelers at Croke Park in Dublin on Sept. 28 in Ireland’s first NFL regular-season game, and then they’ll fly over to London to face the Cleveland Browns at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium a week later on Oct. 5.

“Our experiences in London have always been memorable, so to return in 2025 as the first team to play in back-to-back international games in different countries was something we could not pass up,” Vikings owner Mark Wilf said.

The Vikings are 8-0 in international games, including 4-0 in the regular season. The Vikings and Browns also played in London in 2017, the last time the Vikings were scheduled to visit Cleveland. That means they’re going to go 24 years between trips to Cleveland, with the next one in 2033.

The matchups were revealed on Tuesday by the NFL as part of a series of announcements of notable games on each of the league’s broadcasters ahead of the full schedule release tonight.

That’s also when the league will announce the Los Angeles Chargers’ opponent for its first international game of the season in Brazil, on Sept. 5 at Corinthians Stadium in Sao Paulo. That’s where the Philadelphia Eagles began their Super Bowl quest last year with a game against the Packers on opening weekend.

The Brazilian game will be streamed for free to a worldwide audience exclusively on YouTube and YouTube TV, marking the platform’s debut as a live NFL broadcaster. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and YouTube chief business officer Mary Ellen Coe will announce the Chargers’ opponent today at YouTube’s 2025 Brandcast upfront event at Lincoln Center in New York.

Ravens Safety tears Achilles >> Baltimore Ravens safety Ar’Darius Washington reportedly tore his Achilles tendon during offseason conditioning.

NFL Network and The Baltimore Sun, both citing unidentified sources, reported Washington’s injury, which could impact the team’s defense this coming season. Washington started from late October on last season, and his presence helped the Ravens’ pass defense turn its season around after a shaky start.

Washington signed his restricted free agent tender with the Ravens last month. He’s played all four of his NFL seasons with Baltimore.

Snyder, 29, was charged with engaging in prostitution after he was arrested on Friday, according to court records, which did not list an attorney for him. Messages seeking comment from Snyder were not immediately returned.

Snyder became the youngest American wrestler to win Olympic gold at age 20 during the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games, and he followed that up with a silver at the Tokyo Games. He lost in the bronze-medal match at last year’s Olympics in Paris.

He was a three-time NCAA champion at Ohio State and has won three world championships.

Officers said McGuff hit several curbs and drove into a yard, where he was found behind the wheel on May 6 in the Columbus suburb of Dublin, according to an arrest report. McGuff refused to give a breath sample, police said.

The coach’s attorney entered a not guilty plea on his behalf during a hearing Tuesday. A message seeking comment was left with the attorney.

The 29-year-old Foley was optioned to Triple-A Toledo after spring training, a season after trailing just four AL pitchers in saves.

He was 3-6 with a 3.15 ERA in 69 appearances last year, tying Will Vest for the team lead, and had at least 20 more saves than any other Tiger. In three-plus seasons, he is 7-9 with a 3.16 ERA in 210 games.

In the ninth inning of New York’s 11-5 victory over Seattle on Monday night, Cabrera fractured his left ankle on an awkward slide when he reached back for the plate and scored the Yankees’ final run on Aaron Judge’s sacrifice fly.

While Alcaraz holds a 3-2 career edge over Draper, the British player won their most recent meeting in the semifinals at Indian Wells, California, in March.

Djokovic thanked Murray in a post on social media “for all the hard work, fun & support over last six months on & off the court.”

Nottingham Forest Striker placed in induced coma >> Nottingham Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi has reportedly been placed in an induced coma after undergoing “urgent” surgery on an abdominal injury that was the subject of a heavily debated on-field discussion between the club’s manager and owner following a Premier League game over the weekend.

The Nigeria international was injured when he collided with the goal frame after coming on as a second-half substitute during the 2-2 draw against Leicester on Sunday.

Awoniyi was placed in an induced coma to aid his recovery from Monday’s operation, Britain’s PA news agency reported Tuesday, saying it will help restrict his movement and regulate his heart rate.
