Police in Argentina are reportedly focusing their investigation into Liam Payne’s death on not only the specific drugs in his system, but other small objects found in his hotel room.

According to TMZ, law enforcement sources in Buenos Aires are looking into the possibility that a hotel employee procured the drugs for the 31-year-old singer and used a box of soap for a secret handoff.

Sources within the prosecutors’ office previously said there appeared to be “evidence that a hotel employee sourced the drugs for Payne” prior to his death Oct. 16, but did not provide additional details.

A Dove soap box seen in photos from the room was seemingly out of place, but may be a key to determining what precisely led up to Payne’s fatal fall from a third-floor balcony at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel.

Kid Rock ‘gives credit’ to Eminem, Swift for activism

Kid Rock has a message for Eminem, and for Taylor Swift.

He doesn’t agree with their political affiliations, but he’s happy they’re using their platforms to speak out.

Kid Rock took to his social media channels on Friday to address some of his across-the-aisle counterparts in the music business.

“I love Eminem,” says Rock, who starts out the short video shirtless, strumming his guitar.

“We’ve been friends for many years.

“I don’t agree with his politics, but I do give credit to him and people like Taylor Swift for standing up and not being afraid to be vocal for that which they believe.”

actors including Chabert, 42, termed too ‘old’ in suit

Hallmark Media Executive Vice President of programming Lisa Hamilton Daly instructed a former employee not to cast “old people” for Hallmark roles, saying that “our leading ladies are aging out,” according to a lawsuit filed against the network this month.

According to the lawsuit, Hamilton Daly told plaintiff Penny Perry, 79, a casting director, that they needed to “replace” the “old talent,” including 42-year-old actor Lacey Chabert, who has starred in dozens of Hallmark movies, saying Chabert is “getting older and we have to find someone like her to replace her as she gets older.”

The lawsuit adds that Hamilton Daly said of 60-year-old actor Holly Robinson Peete: “No one wants her because she’s too expensive and getting too old.”

In a statement, Hallmark said: “We do not generally comment on pending litigation. And while we deny these outrageous allegations, we are not going to discuss an employment relationship in the media.”
