Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Thirty-six years after a demon named Betelgeuse (Keaton) attempted to marry her, Lydia Deetz (Ryder) now hosts a supernatural TV talk show called “Ghost House.” She is estranged from her daughter, Astrid (Ortega), since the passing of Lydia’s ex-husband and Astrid’s father, Richard (Cabrera).

After a death in the family, Lydia is called home to Winter River, Connecticut, by her stepmother, Delia (O’Hara). Still haunted by Betelgeuse, Lydia’s worst fear comes true when her daughter opens a portal to the afterlife.

Godzilla Minus One In postwar Japan, failed kamikaze pilot Koichi Shikishima (Kamiki) returns home to find his family has been killed in the bombing of Tokyo.

He finds employment aboard a minesweeper tasked with the disposal of naval mines from the war.

Godzilla, mutated by the United States’ nuclear tests at Bikini Atoll, uses its newfound strength to destroy several ships off the coast of Japan. Not wanting to create panic, the Japanese government does not alert its citizens of the threat, instead tasking Shikishima and the minesweeper crew to intercept the giant lizard’s assault.
