10 teams

Broomfield softball: The Eagles are now 17-0 on the season. Last week, they shut out Longmont and Monarch in mercy-rule victories.

Broomfield volleyball: The Eagles (7-2) swept Silver Creek and Legacy last week. Senior Addie Dotson led the way with 24 kills across two matches, giving her 103 on the year.

Dawson soccer: The Mustangs (5-1) beat Campion Academy and Rocky Mountain Lutheran last week. Freshman Oscar Spruill scored four times in the 11-1 win over the Eagles, giving him six goals on the year. Charlie Martin combined for five goals and Finn Almond for four goals across both wins.

Fairview football: The Knights (4-0) beat Monarch 49-0 behind sophomore quarterback Ki Ellison’s four touchdowns. Toray Davis and Jordan Rechel each had two scores.

Fairview tennis: The Knights (9-2) swept Legacy on Tuesday, then edged Fossil Ridge, 4-3, on Wednesday.

Jefferson Academy boys cross country: Rylan Mills was one of five runners to finish under 17 minutes at the 15-team Arvada West Durden Invitational last week, taking fourth in 16 minutes and 49.50 seconds as the Jaguars finished tied for first. Sophomore Judah Wilson was seventh in 17:08.30.

Legacy cross country: At the 15-team Arvada West Durden Invitational, the girls finished second, the boys third. Freshman Amelia Smetzer finished seventh in the girls’ race in 20:30.60, while sophomore Mua Hauschild was eighth (20:30.80). Cody Tabor (17:11.50) finished eighth in the boys’ race.

Mead football: Quarterback Christian Hiner threw and ran for a score as the Mavericks (3-0) beat Greeley West, 42-6, on Friday.

Niwot cross country: The boys’ team swept the top six individual places at the 25-team St. Vrain Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, led by Rocco Culpepper’s win in 15:29.17. Behind him, Hunter Robbie (15:37.96), Gabriel Marshall (15:38.43), Keegan Geldean (15:45.91), Ryder Keeton (15:50.51) and Quinn Sullivan (15:58.11) each finished under 16 minutes. Addy Ritzenhein won the girls’ race, finishing in 17:24.90. Her team took second.

Skyline volleyball: The Falcons (8-4) won four of their six matches last week. Gabriela Medina-Valdez led the way with 63 kills, giving her 143 on the season.

10 athletes

David Bojorquez, Boulder soccer: Boulder beat Monarch, 9-0, and tied Broomfield, 2-2, on Thursday. Bojorquez had a goal in each, giving him six on the year.

Kianna Butler, Niwot softball: The senior threw shutouts in wins over Monarch and Horizon last week. She hasn’t allowed a run in 20 straight innings.

Jacob Foot, Longmont football: As a bright spot to Longmont’s Week 3 loss to 4A power Palmer Ridge, the freshman had nine catches for 137 yards and a score.

Gavin Lusk, Erie football: The senior ran for 87 yards and three touchdowns on just five carries in the Tigers’ 42-14 win over Fort Collins last week.

Ben Nelson, Centaurus boys cross country: The senior finished third (16:38.20) at the 15-team Arvada West Durden Invitational last week. He was the first boys runner from an in-state school to cross.

Lizzie Owens, Erie softball: The senior went 5 for 8 with five RBIs as Erie (11-6) beat Holy Family and Mead last week.

Monte Samaras, Holy Family football: The senior quarterback threw for three touchdowns and ran in another two as the Tigers (2-1) beat Lewis-Palmer, 56-21, in Week 3. Samaras has eight passing TDs and four scores on the ground in just three games.

Drew Stapp, Niwot golf: The senior finished third at the Longmont Invitational at Twin Peaks Golf Course last week, shooting 1-under-par 69.

Sierra Wall, Fairview girls cross country: At the 25-team St. Vrain Invitational, the senior finished fourth in the girls’ race in 18:17.30.

Maggie Wallis, Peak to Peak softball: The senior’s RBI streak is now at 13 games. She had four hits, a homer and drove in four runs in two games last week. Her .786 batting average is third-best among the seven states that play softball in the fall. Her 36 RBIs are tied for eighth-most.
