‘SNL’ to get Hall of Fame exhibit

”Saturday Night Live” will get its due for its role in breaking new bands and showcasing superstars with the upcoming Rock & Roll Hall of Fame exhibit “SNL: Ladies & Gentleman... 50 Years of Music.” Opening May 23, it will celebrate “SNL’s” musical history, storied performances, and sketches through video installations and a first-ever virtual experience.

The exhibit promises to mirror the flow of the show, from the cold open to a re-creation of the stage. Fan-favorite musical sketches will be brought to life through featured costumes from The Blues Brothers, Sweeney Sisters and more.
