Edward Delgado Dominguez, affectionately known as "Big Ed" to his family and friends, left us peacefully on April 4, 2025 in his hometown of Colton, California. Ed was 88 years old.

Ed lived a life filled with dedication, pride and love. He devoted 22 years of service to his country becoming a highly respected member of the US Navy. After retiring from the Navy, Ed had a successful career with the Colton Unified School District where he worked for 17 years.

Ed loved to play sports and while in the Navy, he was an accomplished and highly sought after softball fast pitch pitcher playing whenever and wherever he was needed. With encouragement from his brother, Gilbert, he learned and loved to play golf, always striving for that perfect game. Ed was a big San Diego Padres fan and attended their games whenever possible.

Ed was a man with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Despite his size, he was a gentle soul who went above and beyond to be the best husband, dad, stepdad, grandfather, sibling and uncle he could be.

Ed was predeceased by his wife, Henrietta "Myra" Dominguez and his stepdaughter, Myra Byner. He is survived by his son, Ed J Dominguez, his stepdaughters, Latitia Ruiz and Rita Alberts along with his grandchildren Eddie D, Alexis and Emmitt Dominguez.

Funeral service for Ed will be on June 6, 2025 at 9:30am at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA 92518. If you would like to attend, please arrive by 9:00am.
