


3 film screenings coming up in Marin
• “Her Name was Moviola,” a love letter to film editing on the Moviola, will be shown at 7 tonight at the Smith Rafael Film Center at 1118 Fourth St. in San Rafael. A Q&A with the film’s writer, Oscar-winning editor and West Marin resident Walter Murch, will follow. Admission is $10 to $15. Go to rafaelfilm.cafilm.org.
• “My Secret Country,” a documentary by Marlo McKenzie, will be shown as part of the San Rafael Public Library’s “Filmmakers in Focus” series at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the library’s temporary location at 1009 Fourth St. in San Rafael.
