Cara Delevingne’s L.A. home destroyed in fire

A house fire devoured the Los Angeles-area home of actress and model Cara Delevingne early Friday morning, leaving two people injured.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the Studio City home in the Hollywood Hills just before 4 a.m. local time. They found heavy flames at the back of the house, which spread to the attic of the home, the fire department said in a news release.

One firefighter was taken to the hospital in fair condition, the department said, and one person inside the home suffered minor smoke inhalation.

It took 94 firefighters more than two hours to extinguish the blaze in the two-story home, by which time the roof had collapsed, according to fire officials.

The “Carnival Row” star is currently performing in London’s West End production of “Cabaret.” Delevingne acknowledged the fire on her Instagram Stories on Friday.

“My heart is broken today,” she wrote in text on top of a photo of her two cats. In a video also posted to her Stories, firetrucks are seen parked alongside a road near the home.

Delevingne thanked the firefighters in another slide, writing, “I cannot believe it. Life can change in the blink of an eye. So cherish what you have.”

Bret Michaels plans break in 2025 due to his health

Poison frontman Bret Michaels is planning to take a break next year.

According to music news outlet Blabbermouth, the 61-year-old rock star shared that although he’s eager to perform throughout 2024, medical issues may require him to take time off next year.

In his statement, Michaels began by saying, “I truly look forward to giving every bit of energy I’ve got in 2024 and leave it all up there on the stage every night.

“However, in 2025, in light of some recent medical results and setbacks, and with much discussion and real advice from my doctors and family, I will be taking most, if not all, of 2025 off, except for a few select dates with both the Bret Michaels Band and possibly all-original Poison,” Michaels said.

The singer added that “I truly need to recharge the batteries and get a good, much-needed physical tuneup.”

Michaels, who celebrated a birthday Friday, is still hard at work despite health challenges including diabetes, a brain hemorrhage back in 2010 and what he refers to as “headbanger’s neck.”
