Beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 10:20 a.m in Long Beach, CA. He was 87 years old.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, on March 9, 1938, Richard moved to California, where he and his wife began their life together in Long Beach. Over the years, they made homes throughout CA before returning to LB. It was there, surrounded by love, that he spent the remainder of his life.
A talented engineer, Richard dedicated more than 30 years of his professional life to Intex Corp. He was known for his Innovation and precision, helping develop products used throughout the world.
Strong willed, intelligent and steady- a true fighter in every way. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, to whom he passed on his wisdom, curiosity and sense of wonder. He leaves behind a legacy of knowledge and inspiration that will guide them for years to come.
Perhaps the most profound moment of his life came in his final hour. Richard passed away at 10:20 a.m.- the exact same time his son Richard had passed, just six months earlier. Those close to the family believe his son reached out to guide him home in peace. A father and son reunited- not just in memory, but in time itself- their spirits forever connected.
He will be missed dearly, honored always, and never forgotten.

Beloved son, brother and uncle passed away peacefully on December 31, 2024 in Downey, CA. He was 57 years old.
Richard spent most of his life in the L.A. area and eventually settled in Long Beach to be closer to his family - of whom he loved most. He never missed an opportunity to make his family smile and laugh.
A man of immense talent and quiet strength, Richard was passionate about photography -not just as a career, but as an extension of who he was. He was widely known and respected throughout the music world for his ability to capture unforgettable moments, photographing countless famous artists and live performances with his signature eye for emotion and detail.
In addition to photography, he had a love for music. He played both the bass and guitar which he shared with his nephew, helping to nurture his musical interests.
His compassionate nature will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, while his legacy will live on through his love of animals, the eye of his camera and the strum of his guitar.
