Dolores Barbara Scott died peacefully on July 20, 2025 at age 90after ashort illness. Dolores grew upin Sunnyvale and was a proud alumnus of Fremont High School (Class of ’52). She made lifelong friends there, and met and married her high school sweetheart, Jerry Scott. They moved to Santa Clara in 1965 and were residents for over 50 years. Dolores was a school teacher for many of those years, notably at Laurelwood Preschool and Briarwood Elementary School.

In 2004, they bought avacation home in Black Butte Ranch, Oregon, where the family gathered every summer and many wonderful memories were made. In 2023, Dolores moved to a senior community in Bend, Oregon to be closer to her family in the area. Dolores was preceded in death by her husband Jerry in 2022.

She is survived by her children, Susan McClammy (Ed), Kelly Scott, and Mike Scott (DeeDee), grandchildren Sarah McClammy, Scott Rice, David Rice, and Cooper Scott, and her sister Donna Richeson (Gene). A memorial gathering for family and friends will take place atalater date.
