76 years old Walnut Creek, CA Anne Corrigan, 76, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, peacefully passed away on May 7, 2025, at her Walnut Creek, California home with her family at her side. Anne was raised inNatick, Massachusetts.
In July 1981, Anne and Stephen Corrigan of Framingham, Massachusetts, were married and moved to Monterey, California. In 1987, following the birth of sons Brian and David, the family moved to the East Bay.
While raising her sons and creating a warm and welcoming home, Anne shared her nurturing spirit as a teacher's aide at St.
Francis of Assisi Elementary and St. Perpetua Elementary School.
Anne’s life was centered on family and friends. She enjoyed camping, skiing, trips to New England and Monterey, and weekends spent cheering on her sons at their sporting events.
Anne also enjoyed playing golf and pickleball and taking daily walks with her friends at the Lafayette reservoir.
Anne embraced her role as a grandmother with boundless love. She poured her energy into countless games, shared the magic of stories, and simply enjoyed every moment spent with her grandchildren.
Anne was truly blessed with a heart of gold. She was a loving and caring person who always put others before herself. She had an innate ability to find the best in everyone, making every person she encountered feel appreciated and inspired.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents, C.
Austin Woods and Phyllis Woods, and her sister Lynn McGrath. Anne issurvived by her husband Stephen, sons Brian and David, sister Carol Fletcher, and her four grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on May 28, 2025, at St. Mary Church, 2039 Mt Diablo Blvd, Walnut Creek.
