Linda Jean Hemborg, age 85, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2025, following complications from a stroke.

Born April 18, 1939, Linda lived a life marked by love, creativity, and deep devotion to her family and community.

She was married for 67 years to her beloved husband, Robert Hemborg, with whom she built a life centered on faith, shared purpose, and enduring partnership.

Though not the public face of Hemborg Ford, Linda was the heart behind the business, helping to shape its foundation of integrity, hard work, and service over 42 years. In the 1970s, she opened a gift shop called the Freckled Frog, reflecting her love of handmade treasures and antiques. She later embraced ranch life, finding joy in gardening, spending time with friends, and nurturing her growing family.

Linda had a creative spirit and a generous heart. She loved anything homemade, cherished a good red wine, and held a deep compassion for the vulnerable in her community.

She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Linda’s honor to Peppermint Ridge or the Settlement House—organizations that reflect her values and lifelong compassion.

Services will be held privately.
