Gary Brandt passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 5, 2025, in Santa Cruz, California. Born on November 18, 1968, in Mountain View, California, he lived a life marked by love, humor, and dedication to his family. He loved to play guitar and teach his son about music.

Gary shared a devoted partnership of 28 years with Lisa Rainer. He was a loving parent to Zachary Brandt and Forrest Raainer and cherished his role in the lives of his stepchildren. Gary is also survived by his sister, Michelle Brandt; brother, Tommy; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother and father.

Gary’s presence will be deeply missed by those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to all who loved them.
