




YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley raised $79,000 at its Marin Women’s Hall of Fame induction dinner and ceremony March 4 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton San Rafael.
The class of 2025 inductees are Mill Valley author, psychiatrist and Jungian analyst Jean Shinoda Bolen; CWISER Ventures Managing Partner Chantel LaRene Walker, of San Anselmo; former Marin County supervisor Judy Arnold, of Novato; West Marin Community Services Executive Director Maria del Socorro Romo, of Point Reyes Station; and North Bay Children’s Center President and Chief Executive Officer Susan Gilmore.
The event was attended by 350 people, including Performing Stars of Marin Founder and Executive Director Felecia Gaston, of Marin City; Mary Kay Sweeney, of Novato; Cecilia Zamora, of San Anselmo; Donna Garske, of San Quentin Village; and Cherie Sorokin, of Tiburon.
