The St. Mary’s Academy girls and Serra boys track and field teams both won CIF Southern Section Division 4 championships Saturday at Moorpark High.

The Belles scored 73 points and tied Rosary for the championship. The Belles also won the CIF-SS Division 4 title in 2024.

Serra finished tied with Viewpoint (49 points) for its first CIF-SS track title since 2022.

Some highlights for St. Mary’s from Saturday’s track finals:

Madison Mosby finished second in the 200 meters with a personal best of 23.86 seconds. Diana Scott (24.93) finished seventh.

In the 400, Mosby finished first (53.90), and Scott (56.76) and Eden Oje (57.06) placed fourth and fifth, respectively.

A’shari Hobbs won the 800 with a time of 2:18.07, and the Belles’ 4×100 relay (48.51) and 4×400 relay (3:47.69) both won their respective races.

In the shot put, Courtonai Batchelor won with a distance of 42 feet, 1 1/2 inches, and Natiel Osborne was fifth (35-11 1/2).

Lawson Griggs-Andrews posted a fourth-place finish in the 100 (10.91) and a third-place finish in the 200 (21.85).

Some highlights for Serra from Saturday’s track finals:

Landon Thomas placed ninth in the 400 (51.45).

Tre Harrison won the 300 hurdles (38.20) and finished fourth in the 110 hurdles (15.68).

Serra finished second in the 4×100 relay (41.96) and won the 4×400 relay (3:23.49).

Joey Bolder finished sixth in the shot put (43-1 1/2) and Jimmy Butler was seventh in the triple jump (38-0).

This week, athletes who qualified for the CIF-SS Masters Meet on Saturday at Moorpark High, will be trying to qualify for the CIF State meet on May 30-31.

Other South Bay CIF-SS champions:

Torrance’s Nicolas Obmigba in the 100 (10:63) and 200 (21.29) in Division 2.

South’s Logan Thompson in the Division 2 shot put (52-1 1/2).

Mira Costa’s Mac Lamkin in the Division 1 300 hurdles (37.39).

Wiseburn Da Vinci’s Olivia Griffin in the 100 (14.64) and 300 hurdles (42.44) in Division 2.
