Passed away on January 4, 2024
Preceded in death by daughter Kelsey Ann Damman; mother Carol Damman; grandparents Alverna and Leonard Damman, Helen and Joseph Koempel. Survived by granddaughter Klover Ann Damman; father Jim Damman; brothers Jim and Tom Damman; nephew Ryan; former spouse Colleen Richards and stepsons Jacob, Eli, and Joshua; other relatives and friends. John graduated from Blaine High School in 1987 and served honorably in the US Army in the 81st Airborne at Fort Benning, Georgia. Then he served with the Arctic Paratroopers at Fort Waynewright in Fairbanks, Alaska, with over 50 jumps in his career.
John moved back to Blaine in 2000 and started a home remodeling and contracting business, which he loved until his sickness got in the way.
Visitation at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH BLAINE CHAPEL (1385 107th Ave NE) on Sunday, January 7 from 3-6pm. Funeral service at 10:30 AM Monday, January 8 at same location, with visitation 1 hour prior. Private family interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
