Twenty-one local volleyball players graced their way onto CHSAA’s all-state team, led by Lyons’ Times-Call player of the year Scarlett Voss and Broomfield’s Daily Camera player of the year Addie Dotson.

Lyons, who made it all the way to the Class 2A state quarterfinals, earned a second-team nod for senior setter Voss (724 assists) and honorable mentions from sophomore middle hitter Michaela Coleman (271 kills), sophomore outside hitter Annabella Hay (285 kills) and senior libero Sienna Reed (319 digs).

Dotson, a senior outside hitter, was one of two Eagles to make the 5A honorable mention thanks to her 279 kills. Senior libero Camryn Von der Hofen joined her with 293 digs. Other 5A honorable mentions included Monarch junior setter Eva Becht (286 assists); Fairview senior middle hitter Ella Billington (132 kills); Niwot senior setter Anne Haley (649 assists); Legacy junior outside hitter Aislin Oldach (266 kills); Erie senior Sutton Sales (235 kills); Centaurus middle hitter Maddie Shea (89 kills); and Frederick junior libero Tatianna Staab (438 digs).

Longmont’s Ella Augustaitus (340 kills) led the 4A honorable mention contingent alongside Mead junior libero Alana Costello (313 digs); Mead senior outside Hailey Hall (328 kills); Skyline junior Gabriela Medina-Valdez (260 kills); and Silver Creek junior middle hitter Ava Rabenhorst (36 aces).

Peak to Peak senior Alexandra Eschmeyer earned the only other second-team mention from the area, in Class 3A, with 356 kills. Prospect Ridge Academy sophomore libero/outside hitter Genevieve Forsman (363 digs) and Jefferson Academy senior Monica Slusser (195 kills) added the final names to the tally.
