Have we just become immune to the anarchy in this city. Is it OK for these criminal riots to take place as in this last Saturday night and no one cares anymore. Why is Lightfoot still the mayor? Why is Brown still the superintendent? Why are these inner city criminals allowed to roam freely causing havoc, damage, injury and harm? Why is there no consequence? Why is Lightfoot allowed to keep a job she very clearly does poorly and cannot do? Why is Brown keeping a job as superintendent which is way out of his league and way over his skill level? These people have been entrusted to maintain this city and clearly are failing at every turn.

I hope the Justice Department and the FBI look at the true domestic terrorists in this country, namely Black Lives Matter, Antifa and George Soros financed revolutionaries. It is not the Proud Boys, Oath and Promise keepers and MAGA people. Just look at the real terrorists that are ruining our cities and towns with violence. Sorry, but you won’t see this on the mainstream news at 10.

To YCM of Orland Park. Storming the U.S. Capitol was not OK with me as well as the looting and rioting we saw last summer in other parts of our nation. I was responding to a Speak Out by Sharon of Palos Heights who did not fault Donald Trump for the Capitol riot and claimed the rioters made up their own minds. Apparently my attempt at sarcasm failed miserably. For the record, I place blame for the Capitol riot squarely on Trump’s shoulders as well as those who have and continue to perpetuate the big lie. The hypocrisy, back pedaling and lack of courage on display by the GOP absolutely astounds me.

The only qualification for being beloved by the former president and the Republican Party is to loudly and publicly praise and defend the former president and his big lie about the election being stolen. That’s it. Trumpism and the Republican Party has nothing to do with policy, conservative or otherwise. It’s simply a cult of personality. Also, all these anti-vaxxers who think they’re imitating Trump better open their eyes and realize the man himself got his vaccine quietly and secretly in the white House before he departed.
