Carl Ernest Anderson went Home to our God and Savior Yeshua on May 29th 2023 at 2:22 pm. He was 81 years old. Amongst men, he had no equal, Truly, one of God’s most unique and special Masterpieces.
Ernie was born at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto June 10th, 1941. This was quite appropriate as Stanford was a big part of the Anderson family history. Anderson Ready Mix Concrete supplied all the concrete for the original Stanford stadium. Ernie’s brother’s middle name is Stanford.
He grew up and was raised in Mountain View and graduated high school in 1959 from Mountain View Highschool. Ernie met his beautiful wife Lynne when they were 15 and 16 years old, they were married in 1962. Ernie went to Menlo School of Business and graduated in 1965 and went on to run the Anderson Ready Mix Concrete company.
Ernie and Lynne had three children; Christopher, Linnea and Eric and the family moved to Aptos, CA. in 1972. Ernie then went on to become a General Contractor and Real Estate Broker & was the President of the Santa Cruz County Board of Realtors. He started Anderson & Company in 1984 which was a residential property management company. He loved his business and he loved the people he worked with as they did him. According to his business peers, his fame and success we’re not just because of his astute business decisions: but a direct result of his integrity and character. His character was renowned.
Ernie loved golf. He drove the golf ball way farther than his friends.
Ernie loved fishing. Especially with his best friend Don fishing for salmon in the Monterey Bay. But his most special times were with his children and the Correa family, fishing for trout at Levetts Meadows.
Ernie loved Lake Tahoe. His family had a house on the Lake. The most cherished of memories were spent here. His mother Ruth Francis and his youngest son Eric-a gourmet chef-cooked many memorable meals.
Most importantly -Ernie loved the Lord-. The Lord who made everything -and conquered death-. This enables his family and friends who know the Truth: to continue our journey, together, forever, in Paradise -with God-.
