The Boilermakers nearly let their season slip away on Sunday. Then Dakota Mathias sank a 3-pointer with 14.2 seconds left, and second-seeded Purdue held off the 10th-seeded Bulldogs 76-73 to reach the Sweet 16 for the second consecutive year. With Isaac Haas unable to play after an injury Friday, 7-foot-3 Matt Haarms filled in capably for Purdue. Purdue faces third-seeded Texas Tech on Friday in Boston.
