Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 29, 2024. Janice was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy of Saint Paul and she also attended St. Catherine’s University where she obtained her nursing degree. Being a nurse was such a large and important part of Janice’s life. She had even volunteered as a nurse for the YCW and attended to children in need of South Africa and Canada. For the majority and rest of her career she was working in the ER at Children’s Hospital of Saint Paul. Janice, above all else, was a dedicated and compassionate mother, wife, and friend. She will be deeply missed.<br><br>Janice is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Julia Wandmacher; husband Bill Sundquist; brothers Mike and Pete Wandmacher; sister-in-law Mary Joy Kinney; and aunt Margaret Bulera. She is survived by her sons, Dan Sundquist and Mike Sundquist (Melody); grandchildren, Miguel and Mikaela Sundquist; brother, Jim Wandmacher (Ann); sister-in-law, Colleen Wandmacher, as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.<br><br>A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Church of The Assumption (51 7th Street W., Saint Paul, MN 55102) with a one hour visitation prior.<br><br>Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights.<div></div><br>
