PHILADELPHIA >> Brandon Marsh hit a home run and an RBI triple, Trea Turner launched his sixth longball in nine games and the Phillies completed a three-game sweep of the Dodgers with a 5-1 victory Thursday night.

Aaron Nola (11-4) struck out nine in six innings and Kyle Schwarber also went deep for the Phillies, who swept the Dodgers for the first time since 2011 — and the first time in Philadelphia since 2008.

Los Angeles has lost four straight overall.

Skenes threw 99 pitches in his 11th major league start, 65 for strikes. The All-Star right-hander walked one while lowering his ERA to 1.90.

Mets 7, Nationals 0 >> Brandon Nimmo hit a bases-clearing double to spark a five-run fifth inning, David Peterson threw six scoreless innings and New York moved into playoff position with a victory over Washington, completing a three-game sweep.

Reds 8, Rockies 1 >> Tyler Stephenson homered twice and drove in five runs, helping Hunter Greene and Cincinnati beat Colorado.

Tigers 10, Guardians 1 >> Riley Greene drove in three runs on three hits and Jack Flaherty pitched six sparkling innings, helping Detroit beat AL Central-leading Cleveland to win its four-game series.

Astros 6, Marlins 3 >> Jake Meyers hit an RBI double and surging Houston beat Miami, completing a three-game sweep with the Astros’ ninth straight victory at home.
