Joseph Brister, age 81 of Sterling Heights, Michigan passed away on January 24, 2025 with family around him. He was the beloved husband of Arlene Bris - ter for 56 years; Loving father of Beth Cristobal and Brian Brister; Treasured grandfather of Michaela Cristobal and the late Alexa Jade Cristobal; Also survived by his brother Robert Brister of Houston, Texas. Joe spent his cacoun- try honorably in the United States Army during the reer as a skilled trades worker. He served his Vietnam Era. Cremation will take place, and he will be interred at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan at a later date.
