John and Abigail Adams Scholarship awardees

BILLERICA >> Shawsheen Valley Technical High School announced that 85 seniors from the Class of 2025 have earned the John and Abigail Adams Scholarship.

The scholarship is a merit-based award that provides up to eight semesters of tuition credit for undergraduate education at Massachusetts state colleges and universities. Recipients qualify by excelling on the 10th-grade Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System exams, among other criteria.

‘Night of the Living Dead: The Musical’

Local students receive academic honors

Area students were recognized by Regis College, in Weston, for earning dean’s list honors in the fall 2024 semester.

To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher; first-year students must have a GPA of 3.25 or higher.
