Age 98 of Saint Paul

Passed away peacefully on January 24, surrounded by family. Predeceased by husband Harald, parents Frederick and Julia, as well as sister Carol Hobson. Survived by children Carl (Jane), Ann Okada (Ron) and Thomas (Kelli), six grandchildren Lauren, Michael, David, Julia, TJ, John and seven great-grandchildren, as well as sister Lois Clark and brothers Bruce and Hugh (Dorothea) Trenk.

She was unfailingly kind and giving, regularly volunteering with the League of Women Voters, co-founding the Ramsey County Friends of the Library, and with the Unitarian churches both in Saint Paul and Surprise, AZ. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Monday, February 3 at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Avenue, Saint Paul from 5-7 pm. A celebration of life to be held at a later date.
