John Hazen Bale, known affectionately as Jack, passed away on September 13, 2024, at the age of 83 in Waterford, MI. Born on April 3, 1941, Jack grew up in Berkley, MI. He worked at the Sterling plant of Ford Motor company for 40 years. Jack leaves behind a loving family, including his wife, Diane; children, Margaret (Joe) Heller, John R. (Veronica) Bale, Heather (Leslie) Smith, and stepchildren, Michelle (Kevin) Egbert-Gray and Ben Cinader. He was a proud grandfather to John D. Bale, Katherine Bale, Lukas (Drew) Heller, Tobias Heller, and Brenden Smith, and a great-grandfather to Hamilton Heller. Sister Jane (Joe) Spurgeon and brother Dan (Ann) Bale. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Hazen Bale and Elizabeth Lucille Bale (née Evans), and brother Earl Evans Bale (Sonny). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at First Presbyterian Church of Royal Oak, 529 Hendrie Blvd, Royal Oak, MI 48067. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by the service at 11:00 a.m.<div></div><br><br>
