It is with deep sorrow and enduring love that we announce the passing of Jack Dyer, he died peacefully on June 10th, 2025, surrounded by family and friends after a 5-year battle with Dementia. Jack was a devoted husband to Karen Dyer, loving father to his 3 sons-Will (Caitlin), John-Michael, Sam (Emily) and was a cherished D-pa to Decklyn and Blake.

Born in San Luis Obispo, CA, Jack was one of seven siblings: Cecilia, Carol, Nancy, Bill, Cathy, he was preceded in death of his brother Jim. Jack was raised in a home filled with laughter and love and music.

He was a dedicated educator, spending 24 years teaching at Dela Salle High School in Concord, where he influenced generations of students with his patience, warmth and quiet strength. Jack had a gift of making people feel seen and valued.

Jack had a deep love of the ocean, music and found joy in playing his guitar, alongside his brothers and friends. Music was a lifelong passion-Family holidays were filled with music and Song. "Dyer" puns was a specialty of his which his 3 sons will continue.

Jack's legacy is one of love, integrity, humor, and compassion. He will be missed beyond words by his family, Celebration oflife will beheld inSLO.
