Resident of San Jose

John Phillip Morgan, born September 12, 1945, passed away on February 20, 2024. He was 78. Also known as JP, he worked for over 40 years in the construction field and retired in 2008 from DaSilva Gates Company where he worked for 35 years. He grew up in Scotts Valley, California, went to local schools, and then moved to San Jose, California where he would spend the rest of his time. Some of his favorite pastimes were cooking and collecting coins.

He also enjoyed auto racing, watching sports and spending time with his girls. John is survived by his loving wife Jean, his three daughters: Samantha, Michele, and Linda, as well as seven grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his foster parents Lawrence and Gladys Dixon. His graveside services will be held at Oakwood Memorial Park & Cemetery in Santa Cruz, California on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 2:00 pm.
