The former Jeremiah’s restaurant in Colton, closed for decades, is finally showing signs of life.

Frequent contributor Steve emailed last week, saying he noticed construction going on at the long-abandoned site, 205 E. Valley Blvd.

On Monday, he emailed again with an update.

It’s being transformed into Woody’s Roadhouse, an offshoot of Woody’s Classic Grill in Grand Terrace.

The new restaurant will also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, but with an emphasis on steaks and barbecue entrees.

An Alcoholic Beverage Control license on the building confirms the name.

A social media post from April notes the restaurant is projected to open this month.

Thanks again for the tip, Steve!
