Before they make the 5.5-mile trip along the parade route on New Year’s Day, nearly 20 of the marching bands participating in the 2025 Rose Parade will provide a sneak peek at next weekend’s Bandfest.
Pasadena City College will host the two-day event starting Sunday. Day one begins at 2 p.m. at Robinson Stadium and will feature the Pasadena City College Tournament of Roses Honor Band & Herald Trumpets along with first- time participants Jackson State University, also known as the “Sonic Boom of the South.”
Day two is split into two shows, one that begins at 10 a.m. and a second starting at 2 p.m.
The morning slate includes the largest band in the parade this year, the 605 All Star Band with members representing eight high schools, seven cities and three school districts surrounding the 605 Freeway.
The Los Angeles Unified School District All District High School Honor Band will be among the afternoon performances.
Robinson Stadium hosts both days with free parking available at Structure 4 off Del Mar Avenue.
Tickets are sold separately for each show.
Admission is $25 and free for children 5 and younger.
