Pro Ukraine rally in front of new courthouse set for May 1
I am writing to raise awareness about the recent unrelenting attacks in Ukraine by the Putin government.
We are looking at deaths and life-changing injuries of civilians, as well as the many casualties on the frontlines. There are frequent attacks on hospitals and other civilian targets.
We can help save the lives of Ukrainian adults and children by equipping frontline defenders and first responders with $15 tourniquets. This is an affordable and, at the same time, priceless gift to anyone whose bleeding has stopped. Tourniquets will be delivered throughout the country to medics, troops, and hospitals. Buying tourniquets made in Ukraine by Sich.UA ensures faster delivery to the frontlines and boosts Ukraine’s economy.
“What is wonderful about fundraising for tourniquets is how such a small, inexpensive item carried in a backpack can be the key to saving a life. Each CAT tourniquet has the potential to change many lives. It touches the hearts of those applying the tourniquets as well as the person receiving it to save their life and limbs. It is just as priceless to everyone who cares about the adult or child helped,” Adelman, a former army nurse in the Vietnam War, concludes.
On May 1, a rally will be held in front of the new courthouse, where we will have a table available for donations. You can also make a donation online at www.handsonglobal.org. Donations are tax-deductible. Ukrainians, free since 1991, must not be enslaved again.
