When the Ridgeline entered Grasso’s Garage for the first time back in 2023, we recognized a mid-sized truck that had the ability to handle a lot of chores and things around the house. Fit for the honey-do list but with tons of comfort and style, the Ridgeline adds an additional trim level to enhance its already capability and usage. I give you the 2025 Honda Ridgeline Trailsport.
Wrapped in Diffused Sky baby blue paint, the Ridgeline Trailsport is ready for off-roading and much much more. The 5-seater crew cab-type truck boasts a comfortable interior, easy to use infotainment system, push button transmission and excellent ground height access in and out of the vehicle for all ages. Powered by the ever-popular Honda i-VTEC engine, which produces 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, the 9-speed automatic transmission was quiet and had no issues getting up and going. Towing capacity boasts a 5,000 pound towing ability, while the Ridgeline offers a 1,509 pound payload capacity.
Our tester came with leather seats, power moonroof, and front and rear parking sensors. Riding on 18-inch alloy wheels and all-terrain tires, the Ridgeline Trailsport boasts its exterior strengths proving its off-road abilities. LED exterior lights, dual-action tailgate, in-bed trunk, heated power mirrors, remote engine start, and integrated trailer hitch. While the Trailsport isn’t taller than other Ridgeline models, it definitely has the curb-appeal of its beefier abilities and orange accents.
As a compact truck owner myself, the Ridgeline is bigger than what I’m used to, but not as big as a half-ton pickup. It’s great for yard-work, small trailer towing, off-road abilities, honey-do list or even towing the camper for the weekend. Honda has done an outstanding job with their recent array of their re-designed fleet. As a Honda CR-V Sport Hybrid owner myself, I can confirm that Honda is on the top of their game, and with the Ridgeline Trailsport, I bet you will see them on the road sooner than expected.
