The Lancers followed a nonleague 0-0 tie against La Serna with a 1-0 loss to St. Joseph’s on Tuesday that ended their Del Rey League title hopes. The Tartans followed a tie with Claremont on Monday with a 1-0 win over the Wolfpack on Tuesday to take over first place in the Palomares League with a 5-1-2 record. The Tartans’ defense has allowed just 15 goals. Wins over Bonita and Walnut would give them the league title.

8. ST. LUCY’S (10-4-4)

The Regents are 2-3-1 in the tough Baseline League and sit in fifth place. But with four games to play, there is plenty of room to shoot up to at least third, but all are tough games (Upland, Chino Hills, Los Osos and Rancho Cucamonga). Still, a winning record could get them into the playoffs as an at-large selection.
