BVSD to host Community Leadership Academy
For a third year, the Boulder Valley School District will host a Community Leadership Academy in partnership with the Parent Engagement Network nonprofit group.
The program can help parents and community members to deepen their understanding of the school district, according to information from the district. One of the goals is to provide parents with the information they need to play a more active role in their child’s education and the district as a whole.
The Community Leadership Academy group will have seven lunch-time sessions, one Friday per month, between October and April, at the BVSD Education Center, 6500 Arapahoe Road. The group will hold additional sessions on building resilient families and communities, and Spanish interpretation will be available.
The deadline to apply is Sunday. To apply, go to bit.ly/3MFxVfa.
