Noteworthy: Demaria helped lead Palos Verdes to a win over Santa Margarita in the CIF Southern Section Division 2 semifinals. The Stanford-bound Demaria, who had 83 kills in the first three matches of the playoffs, had 26 kills in the four-set win Saturday that sent PV to its first CIF-SS final.
