IT’S GOT THE LOOK

A critically endangered Philippine crocodile, considered the rarest in the world, looks out from its newly opened enclosure at the zoo in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, on Monday. It’s a relatively small freshwater crocodile — males grow to about 10 feet long and around 65 pounds — and there are estimated to be less than 100 remaining in the wild, according to the Smithsonian’s National Zoo.
