Resident of Russell City and Union City, CA

Lita passed away after a long life that touched four generations with her spiritual strength, physical strength and love. Lita was born in Russell City a city long gone but for memories, pictures and stories. Lita spoke highly of Russell City sharing countless memories growing up in Russell City. Raised by her grandparents Juana and Mariano Feliciano. The farm and ranch. The sadness of being evicted by way of Eminent Domain. A movie called “THE APOLOGY” had Lita speak of memories and stories while living in Russell City.

Lita attended Russell City School and graduated from Hayward High School in 1947.

Lita married in 1949 to Antonio Quintal Yucca Ancona, a native of Yucatan MX, Pre Deceased. Together they raised a family of 7 children. Gregory Anthony Ancona, pre deceased, Rhonda Kathleen Snookie Walker, a resident of Manteca Ca, Edward Allen Pee Wee Ancona, a resident of Waca TX, Leonard Tubby Ancona, a resident of Union City Ca., Sylvia Pinky Gonzalez, a resident of Patterson Ca., Ginger Ancona, a resident of San Leandro Ca, and Brian William Goo Goo Ancona aresident of Fremont Ca. Countless grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Lita and Antonio enjoyed taking their children and grandchildren to the Alameda County Fair, going camping, going to the movies. Many fond memories were made with countless activities.

Lita worked as a housewife and a business women. The Kitchen stove always had a pot of something good to eat and a refrigerator filled with lots of good foods.

Lita and Antonio owned abusiness by the name of “The Little Latin Club” in San Leandro Ca for 37 years. The business kept going until Antonio retired. Dancing on Friday and Saturday night to live music. A liquor license, adance permit and an ABC license. All the children participated in running the Club Cleaning, stacking beers, maintaining the building, some bartended, some waited tables and Tubby also did the Bouncing.

Through the business Lita &Antonio live the American Dream We children too enjoyed the fruits of our labor.

Lita’s stories as a young child of having a Yellow home on ahill became reality when in 1966 she had abrand new two story home build in 7 Hills, Union City Ca. Lita’s home was beautifully decorated. Many, many family gatherings &memories were made at Lita's home on the hill.

For decades Lita attended the “Native American Indian Baptist Church” in Oakland Ca. Lita taught Sunday school to children. Lita was known as an achiever. Always arriving early to prepare the books for study. The congregation extends blessings a fond good fare well and into the Glory of Heaven be Lita's reward.
