Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine sues LA Fitness for beating

Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine has sued LA Fitness for allegedly failing to protect him during a 2023 beating at one of the chain’s South Florida gyms.

The 28-year-old Bushwick native, born Daniel Hernandez, is seeking over $1 million in damages over an assault by a trio he identified as members of the Latin Kings gang, according to legal documents filed in Palm Beach County.

The “Gummo” performer says the severity of the attack was exacerbated because of employees’ incompetence with regard to security protocol.
