The writer complaining about not seeing Sen. Tammy Duckworth since November needs to start paying attention. Not every politician strives to get their face in the news daily. Most realize that the work they need to do places them in meetings with their constituents or other lawmakers and working with their staffs to keep up with what is happening in the chamber where they serve. In this day and age, it is possible to follow one’s representatives through their websites or Facebook. But that takes a little more effort than complaining about their lack of TV time.

Donald Trump is failing miserably as president. He would fail miserably as a CEO. Folks, this guy ran a family-owned business, didn’t supervise large groups of people, struggled with bankruptcies and failed projects, and would be nothing today without the millions his father left him. Even on “The Apprentice,” he didn’t make any decisions on who to fire and read from prepared scripts. When are his supporters going to see him for what he really is? A con man.

Obviously in Speak Out in talking about President Barack Obama’s eight years, saying over 20 million people had health care, maybe that’s true. But you couldn’t use it because premiums and deductibles skyrocketed. I had Obamacare for only three months and it doubled so I couldn’t afford it. Obama’s employment growth never got over 2 percent, so maybe you should get educated and get out of the way of your bias.
