Danford Peter Perusina, 93, of San Jose, CA passed away in the morning of October 17, 2023.

Dan was born in San Jose on March 1, 1930. He worked and ran the family farm based in San Jose and Morgan Hill for most of his life with his late father Mike, late mother Anne, and late brother Raymond Perusina. He served in the US Navy during the Korean war from 1951-54 and was stationed in Oahu.

He was known as Dan "The Ford Man" because of his love of old Ford cars and trucks. He restored several cars and trucks in his shop on the ranch and enjoyed sharing his knowledge of classic Fords with friends and family.

Dan is preceded in death by his sister Katherine (Rene) Parmisano, his oldest son Mark and is survived by his loving wife of 72 years Arlene, his son Danny, daughter Mary Anne Bridgeman, and son-in-law John. He is also survived by his three grandchildren Tara Simons (Troy), Kyle Bridgeman (Martina), and Joel Bridgeman ( Jaime).

Along with his nine great grandchildren Gabriella Bridgeman, Haley Simons, Scarlett Bridgeman, Heidi Bridgeman, Jordyn Simons, Brooke Bridgeman, Genevieve Bridgeman, Tatum Bridgeman, and Levi Bridgeman.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Services will be held at the Oak Hill Funeral Home - 300 Curtner Avenue - San Jose on Friday, November 3rd at 11:00.
